Yarra Ranges Volleyball Club

With the help of Prospect Wines we have sourced a range of great tasting and great value wines from various wineries throughout Australia. These exciting wines are available for you to purchase at great prices, while also raising some much needed funds for our club.
So please look over the tasting notes and choose any which suit your taste.

What to do:

1. Fill out the Order Form, including the quantities of wine, your details and your payment method. If you will need another person to pick up your wine on your behalf please attach a note outlining this.
2. Return Order Form to Adam Weir at training on the week of Tuesday 18th August (Saturday 22nd at the latest). If payment is being made by cash or cheque this should accompany the order form.
3. All wine will be packaged and available to be picked up at the presentation night. For those who cannot pick up from the presentation night, please organise for someone to receive your wine on your behalf (a note with the order form would be helpful). If this is not possible please call Adam Weir to organise another date for pick up.

YRVC Wine Fundraiser Order Form

A reminder to all players that money for comedy night tickets must be paid ASAP as the night is only just over a week away (Thursday 18th June). Please bring $30 for the 2 tickets to training or the game this week (money to be returned to Nick Feeney from the Honours team or to your coach).

More tickets are available for sale at trainings, if you want more tickets bring $15 per ticket. Please sell as many tickets as you can to help support the club.

Comedy Night Flyer

A reminder that money for Comedy Night tickets needs to be returned by Tuesday 17th May at training. If you could start bringing your money in before this date that would be great. Someone will come around to each team at training to collect money over the next few weeks.

If anyone needs more tickets or you haven’t received any yet you can let me or your coach know ASAP.

We have been able to secure 2 dates to run BBQ’s at the Sandown Bunnings Warehouse. In the past these fund raising events have been very successful.

Sandown Bunnings Warehouse is only 10mins from the State Volleyball Center so it would be great to support the club by driving past on the way home/to volleyball to buy a snag.

Also we will be running a BBQ out the front of the State Volleyball Center on Sunday 9th August - Sunday of the Victorian State Volleyball Championships.

For the first time we will be holding a comedy night at The Comic’s Lounge as a fundraiser for the club. We have 100+ tickets to sell, so bring friends, family or any randoms you can sell tickets too as all ticket sales go to Yarra Ranges Volleyball Club.

When: Thursday 18th June 2009 - Training is cancelled for the night, so everyone should be available.
Where: The Comics Lounge, 26 Errol St, North Melbourne
How Much: $15 Show Only - Optional $15 dinner which must be booked by calling Comics Lounge on 93489488
What Time: Show starts at 8pm, Dinner starts at 7pm

• Come and enjoy our first social function of the year with an afternoon of lawn bowls, music and drinks.
• All you need is a team of 4 people (if you can’t organise a team we can hopefully put you with someone on the day but please do your best to organise a team before the event!).
• The bar will be open all afternoon (drinks at bar prices) and the bistro will open afterwards.
• We encourage everyone to stay for a meal and get to know other people from the club.
• Monbulk Lawn Bowls Club have been good supporters of us so it would be great to support them, plus the food is great!

Other details:

• Bare feet or FLAT SOLED SHOES!!! This is a must. You will not be allowed on the greens in anything else!
• Cost of the day is $20 per person (pay on the day). Don’t forget to bring money for beers and a meal afterwards
• Drinks will be at bar prices
• Teams of 4
• Put your name down on the registration sheets at training for bowls and the bistro afterwards because we will need to know numbers.
• This event is outside so if it rains we will have to cancel
