Please be aware that the second trial will begin at 6:30 and we must be done by 8pm sharp as another booking will be starting then.
Yarra Ranges Volleyball Club will have Men’s and Women’s trials on the 8th and 15th of February at the State Volleyball Centre, Stud Rd, Dandenong. These are Tuesday nights and you will need to attend both sessions. They will begin at 7pm and conclude at 8:30pm. Please bring a $50 registration fee to confirm you place in the club for season 2011. Please note that the stadium charges a $2.50 entry fee to all.
The Vic Beach crew are throwing on two 4-a-side Beach Volleyball tournaments at South Melbourne Beach targeting VVL teams.
Beach is a great way to keep playing volleyball over the summer with your mates from indoor. Beach Volleyball also goes a long way in increasing touches and fitness during the hard-court off season.
PLUS – there’s cash up for grabs to each Division and the Club with the most cumulative points.
The night of nights, the event you don’t want to miss, Yarra Ranges Volleyball Club Presentation night!
Get all your team mates, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and friends to come along and celebrate your season.
MVP and Coaches awards will be handed out on the night. It’s also a great opportunity to say thanks to the coaches who have volunteered so much time over the year to help you improve your volleyball.
YRVC Wine & a Raffle will be running, so make sure you bring your pocket money.
Meals will be available from a limited menu for around $20.
Just a quick note to let everyone know the comedy night is NEXT Thursday! It’s sounding like a great night with heaps of people attending so make sure you are there.

The Yarra Ranges Volleyball Club is running another Comedy Night at the Comic’s Lounge after the success of last year’s event. Each player is required to sell 2 tickets for the event and additional tickets will be available if needed. The club really needs everyone’s support to make the night a success.
Bring your parents, relatives and friends along for a great night of laughs from comedians such as Gab Rossi, CJ Fortuna and Brad Oakes.
When: Thursday 12th August
Where: The Comic’s Lounge, 26 Errol St Nth Melbourne.
Cost: $15 Show only (Optional $15 dinner which must be booked by calling 9348 9488)
Time: Dinner from 7pm, Show starts at 8pm.
This is an 18+ event so photo ID will be required.

We are running the wine fundraiser and the comedy night – and soon you’ll be hearing about both at training.

We have teamed up with Prospect Wines to conduct a wine fundraiser. We have selected a range of great value for money wines which Prospect Wines will label with our own group label. We encourage you to support this wine fundraiser. Not only do you purchase a great product, but every carton of wine you order generates valuable dollars for our club, so please support this fundraiser by taking orders from your family and friends, and pass this email on to other potential supporters.
Placing an online order is very simple.

Once logged in click on the “Fundraiser Store” page and you will see the tab to open the page for our fundraiser.
Please ensure that all orders are for a minimum of 12 bottles.
Your dozen can be a straight dozen of all one wine, or you can select different wines to make up your own mixed dozen.
You will be charged a delivery fee for direct delivery to your nominated address by Australia Post.
This delivery fee will be shown on the checkout page according to where the delivery location is. Please nominate a delivery address that will have someone present to accept delivery.
Smaller orders
The minimum online order is 12 bottles. If you are super keen, but aren’t after this many bottles you have to options:
1. Join your order together with a friend/friends to make up the 12 bottles.
2. Create a manual order. Print out the bottles and prices you require and bring it with cash to Adam Weir. Adam will complete the orders
So everyone, email, facebook, twitter or whatever. Get the word out and get the orders in.

Just a reminder that your TOTAL fees and rego forms are due by the 15th of April. Any player that has not paid in full or has not completed a rego form will not be allowed to play until they have done so!
Earlybird fees also end on the 15th of april.
